Darren is a senior executive and experienced business and finance leader with over 23 years of experience. He joined MedCoSo as Chief Financial Officer in July, 2017 and after a short time in that role, due to his strategic and leadership abilities, was asked to take over the company as Chief Executive Officer in April, 2018 and currently serves in both roles. Prior to MedCoSo, he spent 17 years of his career at PMG Research, Inc. where he served as the Vice President and Chief Financial Officer. During his tenure at PMG he led and developed the financial infrastructure needed for accounting, treasury, corporate finance, financial operations, study budget negotiations teams, legal, human resources and mergers & acquisitions teams. He played a key executive role in the impressive growth PMG experienced and developed an expertise in site budget negotiations and financial operations of clinical trials, all things accounting, finance and FP&A related to operating an extremely successful site network and site growth and expansion. He was crucial in leading the transition of PMG from being a private, closely held, company over to Private Equity in 2012 and then again in December 2015 from Private Equity over to a Publicly held global Contract Research Organization. Darren has served on various committees, boards and conferences in and out of the business industry over the years. He currently serves on the Greater Gift Initiative, Inc. and Hayworth Christian School, Inc. boards. He serves as a Director and Treasurer on both boards. Shanna has over 20 years of experience in healthcare including 12 years as a CRNA at a Level 1 Trauma Center and 4 years at numerous outpatient settings in the southeastern US. In her role as President of Anesthesia Care Services, she is responsible for ACS accounts throughout the SouthEast, working directly with the CEO and Sr. VP of Operations. Shanna will continue to provide anesthesia in the clinical setting. Originally from Canada, she completed her undergraduate nursing degree at Queen’s University in Kingston, Ontario prior to graduating from UNC at Greensboro with her Masters. Shanna is a member of AANA/NCANA. She is excited to lead and influence, the “experience” that is ACS. She resides in Winston-Salem, NC with her husband and three children.

Dawn has been involved in healthcare for over 20 years. In her nursing career she has worked clinically in both the acute and non-acute settings. In addition to her clinical expertise she has also served as a Nursing and Surgery Center Administrator for a large GI practice where she developed an expertise for efficiently running large successful surgery centers. She joined MedCoSo in January, 2017 to bring that operational expertise to the current MedCoSo clients as well as work to develop and integrate with new clients. Dawn has an Associate Degree in Nursing from Forsyth Technical Community College. She is a Certified Gastroenterology, RN (CGRN). She has been a member of SGNA for 20 years where she has served many roles to teach and lead others. She has served as President, Treasurer, a Regional Society Committee member and a Leadership Mentor just to name a few. She has also written articles on leadership for the SGNA. Dawn is a very active and respected member of the healthcare community.

Rueben B Blancas is a Certified Registered Nurse Anesthetist (CRNA) in Winston Salem, North Carolina. He graduated with Honors in 2009. Rueben has more than 10 years of diverse experiences, especially in the acute clinical setting. Rueben B Blancas coordinates with doctors and specialists within the ACS network to evangelize industry best practices and trends.

Dr. Marcos Rosado is an anesthesiologist in Fayetteville, North Carolina and is affiliated with Fayetteville Veterans Affairs Medical Center. He received his medical degree from Ponce School of Medicine and has been in practice for more than 29 years.
