More Alphabet Soup for Anesthesiologists, CRNAs and AAs—the Medicare QRURs

The Quality and Resource Use Reports (QRURs) contain performance information on the quality and cost measures used to calculate the quality and cost composites of the Value Based Payment Modifier from CMS. The VM applies to groups of 100 or more eligible professionals this year and will apply to groups of ten or more in 2016, based on their 2014 performance. CMS will make the final QRURs for 2014 available very shortly. Anesthesiologists should begin to familiarize themselves with these data now.
