Meet Barry Herrin

MedCoSo is thrilled to have Barry Herrin as a part of our team. Mr. Herrin has been in the industry for many years. He is a leader in healthcare facility operations and compliance. He is also an expert in Healthcare Managment Consulting. Some of his roles have included advising health care providers on corporate, operational, and governance issues, including medical staff matters, hearing and appellate rights for physicians, Medicare and Medicaid billing matters, federal anti-kickback statute compliance, federal and state "Stark" compliance, and restrictive covenant issues. He also has advised government hospital authorities on restructuring of hospital operations.

He has cted as relationship manager and primary outside operations counsel for Georgia legal services for 15-facility system. In addition, he has assisted a North Carolina hospital in identifying process irregularities that caused thousands of electrocardiogram studies to be disqualified for Medicare and Medicaid reimbursement.
